Visit to the Gujranwala Cantonment
In response to the invitation of 83 LT S & T Bn/HQ 19/ABG Gujranwala a contingent comprising students from Board classes (one hundred and six) visited the Cantonment .
The journey towards the destination started at about 7:30 am in our own transport.
The students were shown various activities including Ditch Jumping, Canal Crossing, Laying an artificial Bridge, unarmed combat, Rescue operation from the terrorist attack of artillery through shelling, the attack of Zafar tank and last though not the least, the exhibition of various arms and systems of communication.
All these fascinated the students a lot but activity which, perhaps, was the most thrilling of all was the short movie regarding the invaluable sacrifices of brave soldiers of the Pakistan Army.
The hospitality shown by the hosts, no doubt, was exemplary. At about 10 O’ Clock the whole army of students was accorded with a superb Tea break. Afterwards, towards the end of our stay there, at about 01 O’clock. We were served with a delicious Lunch.
The upuhill task of maintaining discipline was performed by team infused with an extreme sense of dedication. This included:
