Global Handwashing Day
Global Handwashing Day (GHD) is a campaign to motivate and mobilize millions around the world to wash their hands with soap to prevent diseases. A special assembly was conducted to raise awareness about the benefits of handwashing with soap on October 19, 2015. Students also washed their hands with soap in the school following these simple steps.
- They wet their hands with running water.
- Applied liquid or bar soap.
- Lathered well.
- Rubbed their hands vigorously for at least 20 seconds.
- Rinsed well.
- Dried their hands with a clean towel.
